My Story
_edited.jpg)
I am an Israeli landscape painter working primarily in the tradition of Impressionism. My practice is rooted in plein-air painting — observing nature directly and translating light, atmosphere, and the passing moment onto the canvas.
I studied at the Jerusalem Studio School under Israel Hershberg, at “The Station” School with Aram Gershuni and David Nipo, and later in a master class with Eli Shamir. Over the years I have exhibited solo shows at Gallery on the Cliff in Netanya, Beit Gabriel at the Kinneret, the Haifa Artists’ House, the Jaffa Salon of Art, and in Kempten, Germany, among others.
My work focuses on the quiet poetry of the Israeli and European landscape — fields, orchards, hills, and changing seasons — seeking honesty, simplicity, and a direct response to the world as it appears.
I focus on Plein air painting.
In direct painting from nature.
